Role Overview

The SEO Specialist will be responsible for improving the organic search visibility of Onlin stores and client websites. This role requires a structured approach to keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical SEO monitoring, performance analysis and cross-functional coordination to deliver measurable SEO improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct keyword research based on customer search intent, business category and relevant local markets.
Optimise product pages, store pages and website content, including titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links and SEO tags.
Develop and implement on-page SEO recommendations in line with search-engine guidelines and business objectives.
Monitor organic rankings, traffic, indexing and search performance through Google Search Console, Google Analytics and relevant SEO tools.
Identify technical SEO concerns, including crawlability, indexing, mobile usability, page speed, broken links and site structure; coordinate timely resolution with the relevant teams.
Prepare accurate, well-presented SEO performance reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
Conduct competitor analysis and monitor category trends to identify growth opportunities.
Work closely with content, catalogue, design and development teams to ensure SEO standards are maintained across all client stores.
Stay informed about search-engine updates and continuously refine SEO processes and recommendations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in SEO, digital marketing or website optimisation.
Sound understanding of keyword research, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, local SEO and technical SEO fundamentals.
Working knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner and SEO research tools.
Strong written communication skills and the ability to create clear, customer-focused SEO content.
Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with e-commerce, product SEO and online store optimisation will be an advantage.
